WINNEMUCCA — Humboldt County Clerk Tami Spero has  compiled the county and district offices open for election in 2012.  The filing date for individual offices is March 5-16; those interested in running for Justice of the Peace should note the filing date for that office is January 3 – 13, 2012.

It is unknown at this time how many representatives the northern rural counties may have in the Nevada Assembly.  Currently, Humboldt County has three assembly districts. However, redistricting may lead to all of the rural counties in Nevada having just one assemblyman and one senator.
