Bumgartner announces retirement Print

WINNEMUCCA — Superintendent Mike Bumgartner announced his intention to retire when his contract expires on June 30.  The announcement was made at the at the Tuesday (Jan. 24) meeting of the Humboldt County School Board of Trustees.

Bumgartner issued a letter of resignation to the board.  He said he wasn’t dissatisfied or unhappy working in Humboldt County, but after a long and fulfilling career it was time to do something else.
