A Message from Harry Reid: LAST DAY to register to vote!
Elections are about choices, and you face a very clear choice this year. I was born and raised in Nevada and I still live here today. I love this state and fight hard every day to help strengthen Nevada's working families and get our economy back on track. My opponent has a very different approach. In her world, when the going gets tough, you're on your own. Look no further than her recent comments when she stood up on behalf of big insurance companies and declared they should not have to cover mammograms, colon cancer screenings, autism, and even maternity care.

Only one week left to register to vote online!
This is an incredibly important election. Sen. Reid's opponent , Sharron Angle, wants to kill Social Security and Medicare, says the unemployed are "spoiled" and that it's "not (her) job to create jobs," and that insurance companies shouldn't have to cover treatment for children with autism.
And while it's incredibly important that we reelect Sen. Harry Reid - who delivers for this state like no one can - it's also important that we elect a Democratic governor and lieutenant governor, reelect Congresswomen Dina Titus and Shelley Berkely and our constitutional officers and hold our majorities in the state legislature.

2010 Ratified Convention Platform
ARMED SERVICES/ VETERANS
We believe that service to our country is the greatest act of self-sacrifice and patriotism. We support necessary services and care for all veterans, regardless of the location of the nearest Veterans’ Affairs hospital or the ability to pay. We further believe that all veterans must be provided with help reintegrating into their communities, including but not limited to: counseling services, technical training and education benefits, including the GI Bill, and appropriate disability payments for those who return from their service to our country. We support adequate benefits and resources for spouses/domestic partners and children of service persons on active duty and those who die in the service of this country. No veteran should be denied or delayed medical or mental health care for any reason. We further support increased efforts to prevent suicide amongst military servi

Sue Lowden Swats KNPR, KNPR Swats Back
Sue Lowden went on KNPR this morning to talk about her campaign. After the KNPR host asked Lowden some tough questions about her illegal campaign bus, her ridiculous proposal for Nevadans to trade Chickens for Checkups and her disastrous record as a businesswoman, Lowden accused KNPR of not doing their research. So KNPR published their research online. Listen to the interview, and see KNRP's fact check on Lowden's lies, here.
