Officer resigns position with police department Print

Zachary Formby, age 25, a resident of Winnemucca, resigned his position as a Winnemucca Police Officer effective November 23, 2011 following convictions on three counts of Domestic Battery by the Union Township Justice Court. The Winnemucca Police Department turned the criminal investigation of the off duty conduct which lead to Formby’s arrest and prosecution over to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department and placed Formby on administrative leave following receipt of the initial report in August 2011.
