Union Township Justice Court reports through October 7 Print

The following sentencings were the results of hearings held in the UnionTownship Justice Court.

 

 

Thursday , Sept. 29

  • Jamee Lynn Foxx was sentenced for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia to pay fines totaling $342 by March 29, 2012.
  • Sherry Lynn Martin was sentenced to pay fines totaling $292 by Dec. 29 because one of her animals bit someone.

Friday, Sept. 30

  • Jennifer Brennan Heckman was sentenced for misdemeanor expiration and renewal of registration to pay fines totaling $102 in addition to a $100 failure appear fine and a $100 bench warrant fee with $1oo credit for time served.

Monday, Oct. 3

  • Debbie Lou Gates was sentenced for misdemeanor throwing a burning object onto the highway. The additional charge of misdemeanor driving without proof of insurance was dismissed.
  • Jose Javier Gonzalez was sentenced for misdemeanor driving with a suspended/revoked driver’s license to pay fines totaling $342 by Jan. 3.
  • Tracy L. McCrea was sentenced for misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor to pay fines totaling $102, which was converted to 12 hours of community service to be completed by Nov. 3.
  • Ronald Joseph Schofield was sentenced for misdemeanor reckless driving to pay fines totaling $342, which was converted to 35 hours community service to be completed by Feb. 3. The additional charge of driving without proof of insurance was dismissed.
  • Richard Munoz was sentenced for misdemeanor resisting a public officer to pay fines totaling $402 by Nov. 3.
  • Aubrey Tatum was sentenced for misdemeanor driving suspended/revoked to pay fines totaling $182 in addition to a $100 bench warrant and a $100 failure to appear warrant to be paid by Dec. 31.

Thursday, Oct. 6

  • The charge against Joseph Paul Jernberg, of misdemeanor resisting a public officer, was dismissed after the witness failed to appear in court.
  • Rueben Antonio Rodriguez was sentenced for misdemeanor violation of a temporary restraining order to serve five months in jail to run concurrent with a charge in district court. The separate charge of resisting a public officer was dismissed.
  • Juan Jose Gonzalez-Garcia was sentenced for misdemeanor first-offense reckless driving to pay fines totaling $800 with $400 stayed on the condition there be no more reckless driving charges in the next year. With court fees the total fine amount was $512.
  • Genaro Anaya Ricano was sentenced for misdemeanor hit & run with property damage to pay fines totaling $1,000 with $500 stayed on the condition he not have any hit & run charges in the next year. With court fees the total fine amount was $627 to be paid by Feb. 6.

Friday, Oct. 7

  • Jesus Miguel Hernandez was sentenced for misdemeanor failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign to pay fines totaling $50 with $25 stayed. With court fees the total fine amount was $57.
  • Lawrence David Lindeman was sentenced for misdemeanor trespass to 30 days in jail with 30 days stayed for one year and to stay off the Winners Inn properties.
  • Shannon Golightly was sentenced for misdemeanor seatbelt violation to pay fines totaling $57 plus $100 failure to appear fine and a $100 bench warrant fine by Jan. 7.
  • Rigoberto Palacios-Lopez was sentenced for misdemeanor DUI to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed and one day credit for time served and one day to do by Nov. 7; fines totaling $572 by March 7; complete DUI school and attend a Victim Impact Panel. On the additional charge of driving without a license in possession the defendant was fined $182.
