Arrest, citation, and accident reports through May 28 Print

The following arrest and citation information was taken from media reports issued by the Winnemucca Police Department, the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, and the Nevada Highway Patrol

Wednesday, May 19

  • A 17 year-old-male was charged with making threats against a school official.

Thursday, May 20

  • Amanda Joy Dick, 45, was arrested on two outstanding warrants. Bail was $1,504.
  • Zachary Herzog, 20, was charged with obstructing/delaying a peace officer and minor in consumption.  Bail was $1,309.  Robert Simpson, 19 was charged with minor in consumption. Bail was $182.

Saturday, May 22

  • Michael Case, 18, was each charged with minor in consumption. Bail was $182.
  • Alvaro Erwin Cereceres, 19, was charged with first-offense DUI, minor in consumption, and minor in possession. Bail was $1,491.
  • Abelardo Garcia, 25, was charged with resisting a peace officer. Bail was $1,127.

Tuesday, May 25

  • Jared Holm, 22, was charged with (internal) possession of a controlled substance and probation violation. Contact was made after the subject was found lying on the highway. Holm was placed on a no-bail hold.
  • Marciela Alvarez, 40, was cited for driving without proof of insurance, driving without a driver’s license, and failure-to-yield the right-of-way following a non-injury, two vehicle accident at the intersection of Haskell and Bridge Streets.
  • Shannon Lorraine Golightly, 41, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and aiming a firearm at another person. Bail was $22,500.

Wednesday, May 26

  • A male juvenile was charged with arson after he allegedly held a lighter to the ceiling of his home and scorching it in two places.
  • Norman Wayne Thompson, 54, was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license following a non-injury, two-vehicle accident on Haskell St.

Thursday, May 27

  • Cody Brian Chavez, 32, of Springerville, Az, was charged with DUI, resisting arrest, and reckless driving. Bail was $2,783.

Friday, May 28     

  • Alizia Leon, 25, was charged with failure to appear in court. Bail was $1,000.
