The following arrest and citation information was taken from media reports issued by law enforcement.

Saturday, Feb. 16

  • Kevin Murtagh, 25, was charged with attempted burglary and possession of stolen property. Bail was $40,000.
  • Jesse McKillop, 34, was charged with second-offense DUI and failure to obey a traffic control device. Bail was $1,809.
  • Sonny Brown, 22, was charged with DUI. Bail was $1,127.

Friday, Feb. 22

  • A juvenile male was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released to a parent.
  • Jerardo Alcaraz, 20, was charged with domestic battery, elder abuse, and delaying a cell phone call. Bail was $8,000.

Saturday, Feb. 23

  • The Washoe County Sheriff's Office, acting on information developed during a traffic stop in Humboldt County by NHP Troopers Johnny Peoples and James Phillips, recovered $111,000 from a false compartment in an auxiliary fuel tank from a subject's vehicle. The funds will be distributed between the participating agencies of the Northern Nevada Interagency Task Force to assist in narcotics interdiction.

Sunday, Feb. 24

  • Jesse Sanchez, 34, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Bail was $857.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

  • Matthew Furnare-Biggs, 18, was charged with brandishing a firearm, disturbing the peace, and disorderly conduct. Witnesses alleged the subject pulled a firearm and reportedly said he was going to shoot cops. Bail was $3,754.
  • Kenneth Manzo, 24, was charged with battery and was placed under citizen's arrest. Bail was $1,122.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

  • Diana Huffman, 44, of Minnesota, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled for sales, and transporting a controlled substance on the allegations 17 pounds of marijuana were recovered from her vehicle following a traffic stop conducted by Trooper James Phillips. The subject initially denied the consent to search but allowed a drug dog to walk around the car. The dog alerted on the car at which time a telephonic warrant was obtained for the vehicle and 15 bags of marijuana were allegedly recovered (shown below). Bail was $35,000.

REPORTS: A grand larceny report was taken after someone reported a firearm was stolen from their vehicle; a burglary report was taken after someone reported their storage shed was emptied out by unknown persons; an injury to motor vehicle report was taken after someone reported their vehicle's windows were shot out; an injury to property report was taken after someone had their front window broken out; a malicious mischief/property damage report was taken after someone reported the front window of their business was shot by a BB or pellet gun; a tampering with a motor vehicle report was taken after someone reported the back window of their vehicle was shot out by a pellet gun; a fraudulent use of a credit card report was taken after someone used the victim's credit card to buy a watch from an Internet site; a destruction of property report was taken at Lowry High School after someone found the window to their vehicle was broken out; an injury to motor vehicle report was taken after someone reported the driver side window of their vehicle was broken out; a burglary report was taken after it was discovered an unknown person stole multiple items from the Winnemucca Hotel; a domestic battery was reported; someone alleged a domestic battery occurred in the parking lot of Walmart; a past tense domestic battery was reported; a domestic battery was reported after two subjects related by marriage were involved in a physical altercation; a simple battery/peeping allegation was made after the victim alleged someone entered the woman's bathroom and made a pass at her; a domestic battery was reported; a report was taken after a juvenile state a man stopped her while she was walking home from school and asked if she wanted a ride home; a malicious mischief report was taken after two windows in a business were shot with a BB gun; a battery report was taken after two male juveniles were involved in a fight; a battery with a deadly weapon report was taken after someone alleged they were stabbed by an unknown subject while walking down E. Second St.; a domestic violence report was taken but a primary aggressor could not be determined; a vehicle burglary report was taken after someone reported her purse was taken from her vehicle; a property damage report was taken after someone had three house windows broken; a malicious mischief report was taken after someone shot out the two front doors at the Winnemucca Events Center; a commercial burglary report was taken after someone entered a business in the night and took the cash; an injury to motor vehicle report was taken after someone reported their vehicle was hit by Bbs; an injury to motor vehicle report was taken after someone broke the windows out of a car.
