The following arrest, citation and accident information was taken from media reports issued by the Winnemucca Police Department, Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, and the Nevada Highway Patrol.

ZAMORA

Thursday, January 21 —Gabriel Raul Zamora-Duenas, 25, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 21, and charged with attempted sexual assault, battery with the intent to commit sexual assault, kidnapping and burglary. 

According to Capt. Rick Waldie, of the Winnemucca Police Department, a local woman alleged Zamora-Duenas came into her house and attacked her.  The woman said during the course of the attack she managed to free herself and call authorities.  The woman identified Zamora-Duenas, whom she knows, as her attacker. The woman had minor injuries.  Her two children were at home at the time of the attack, but they were not physically injured.

Zamora-Duenas is being held at the Humboldt County Detention Center on $470,000 bail.

Friday, January 8

  • Elizabeth Marie VanDiepen, 22,  was cited and released for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  According to the report by NHP, VanDiepen was pulled over on Interstate 80 for having expired license plates.  A warrant was obtained, a search conducted, and marijuana and a pipe were allegedly discovered.

Wednesday, January 13

  • Jose DeJesus Monjatas-Becerra, 23, was arrested and charged with second offense DUI and possession of methamphetamine.  Bail was $10,896.
  • Paul Young Royston, 45, of Battle Creek, Michigan, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday, January 14

  • Robert Lee Mangum, 23, was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging battery causing substantial bodily harm.  He was placed on a no-bail hold.

Friday, January 15

  • Johnathan H. Macias was cited for failure to drive within the marked lanes after he lost control of his vehicle, exited the Interstate at milemarker 181, and rolled backwards down a steep embankment.  According to the report by NHP, the driver was treated for minor injuries.  He allegedly told troopers he fell asleep while driving.
  • Alexander King, 19, was in custody and was additionally charged with possession of stolen property on a warrant out of Lyon County.  Bail was $10,000.

Saturday, January 16

Grass Valley Accident

  • NHP troopers are investigating a two-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Donald Lane and Grass Valley Rd.  A 2008 Dodge Ram was struck by a 4-door Lexus as the driver was crossing Grass Valley Rd. from East to West Donald Lane.  A four-year-old passenger in the Lexus was transported to Humboldt General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Citations are pending.

Sunday, January 17

  • Jolene Purcella, 32, was arrested and charged with failure to appear in court.  The warrant was issued by the Pahrangat Valley Justice Court.  Bail was $1,736.

Monday, January 18

  • Esequiel Solis, 24, was arrested and charged with DUI and open container.  Bail was $1,546.

Tuesday, January 19

  • Joshua Thord Ordell, 23, was arrested and charged with violating the terms of his parole.  He was placed on a no-bail hold.
  • Michael Timothy, 22, was arrested and charged with driving while suspended.  Bail was $337.

Wednesday, January 20

  • Zachary Marshal Herzog, 19, was arrested and charged with DUI, being a minor in consumption, and resisting arrest. Bail was $2,421.
  • Michael Morgan, 47, was arrested and charged with DUI. Bail was set at $1,219.
