Arrest, Citation and Accident Reports December 3-10 Print

The following arrest and citation information was taken from media reports issued by the Winnemucca Police Department, the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, and the Nevada Highway Patrol.

 

Wednesday, December 2

John Thomas Kephart, 27, was arrested and charged with driving with suspended license plates, open container, resisting public officer, and driving without a valid driver’s license.  Bail was set at $1,813.

Samantha Remington Schofield, 20, was arrested on two outstanding warrants.  Bail was set at $1,064.

Jennifer Lee Davis, 36,  was arrested on an outstanding warrant.  Bail was set at $2,500.

Travis Dustin Nix, 27, was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging failure to appear in court.  Bail was  $1,204.

Charges are pending against a 41-year-old man from Salinas, California after a 2-vehicle accident in which alcohol may have been a factor.  According to the report by NHP, the suspect allegedly drove his vehicle into the back of a triple-trailer semi truck.  After impact, the Toyota Tacoma being driven by the man began rotating in a clockwise manner then left the roadway.  The man was transported to HGH with minor injuries. 

Thursday, December 3

Cody Leigh Delgado, 20, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and placed on a P&P Hold.

Gene Austin Marr, 21, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.  Bail was set at $627 – cash only.

Joshua Thord O’dell, 23, was arrested on allegations he violated the terms of his probation by drinking at a local bar.  He was placed on a no-bail hold.

Harold Raymond Brown, 61, was arrested and charged with DUI and failure to yield the right of way.  Bail was set at $1,219.

Russell E. Woodworth, 37, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Carson Township charging failure pay fines.  Bail was set at $251.

Friday, December 4

Thomas Jackson, 36, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.  Bail was set at $10,000.

Daniel Timothy Kephart, 25, was arresting on an outstanding warrant.  Bail was set at $270.

John Thomas Kephart, 27, was arrested on two outstanding warrants.  Bail was set at $13,122.

Saturday, December 5

Ismael Cobarrubias-Uribe, 41, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.  Bail was set at $1,122.

James William Brawner, 46, of Sparks, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.  Bail was set at $1,344.

Sunday, December 6

Eric Louis Strange, 28, of Carson City was cited for basic speed/driving too fast for conditions after his vehicle left the roadway and overturned.  According to the NHP report, an eight-year-old child was transported to HGH with minor injuries.  Weather conditions were believed to be a factor in the accident.

Joshua Paulman, 31, of Fernley, was cited for basic speed after his vehicle left the roadway and overturned.  The four occupants in the vehicle were uninjured.  Weather conditions were believed to be a factor in the accident.

John David Piper, 39, of Adgar, AL, was cited for due care after the semi-truck he was driving left the highway and went down a Golconda Pass embankment.  According to the report issued by NHP, Piper told authorities he hit an icy patch,  over-steered, and then hit the guardrail.  The driver allegedly lost control of the semi, which rolled over the guardrail and came to a rest on its right side at the bottom of the embankment.

Charles A. Fransisco, of Spring Creek, was cited for following too closely after a 2-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 near milemarker 145.  Weather conditions were believed to be a factor in the accident.

Monday, December 7

Christopher Ronald Frei, 36, was arrested and charged with second offense DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance for sales.  According to the report issued by NHP, Frei was pulled over while driving his ATV in the public right of way and faces various traffic offenses.  Bail was set at $14, 635.
