Arrest, accident, and citation reports through Dec. 29, 2011 Print

The following arrest and citation information was taken from media reports issued by the Winnemucca Police Department, the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office and the Nevada Highway Patrol.

 

Friday, Dec. 16

  • Justin Ellwood, 23, was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging failure to appear in court on a traffic citation.  Bail was $1,171.

Thursday, Dec. 22

  • Joshua James Nachiondo, 22, was charged with DUI and failure to maintain the travel lane.  Bail was $1,229.
  • Macio Jacob Coleman, 24, was charged with trespass and possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription.  Bail was $5,182.

Friday, Dec. 23

  • Jon David Simpson, 31, was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging failure to appear in court on a traffic citation.  Bail was $1,156.
  • Tara Sanders, 18, was charged with minor in consumption. Bail was $342.
  • A 62-year-old man from Folsom, Calif. was injured in a rollover accident on Interstate 80 at milemarker 175.  He was transported to Humboldt General Hospital for treatment and later told accident investigators he fell asleep as he was driving.

Saturday, Dec. 24

  • Ryan Todd Murrah, 19, was charged with first-offense domestic battery.  Bail was $3,000.

Monday, Dec. 26

  • Daniel James Hagen, 41, of Modesto, Calif., was charged with driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs not to be introduced into interstate commerce, manufacturing/cultivation of a controlled substance.  According to the report generated by Trooper Wylie Lund, the subject was traveling on Interstate 80 in a pickup truck that was towing a trailer.  One of the tires on the trailer went flat, but the driver kept driving.  Lund initiated a traffic stop and later requested a search warrant, which allegedly turned up 5 oz. marijuana, books and magazines on the cultivation of marijuana, and equipment used on the cultivation of marijuana.

Tuesday, Dec. 27

  • Roberto Alciblades Orellana, 61, of Stockton, Calif., was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging failure to appear in court on a traffic citation.  Bail was $805.
