The following were the court proceedings for:

  • The 6th Judicial District Court -- Judge Richard Wagner
  • The Union Township Justice Court - Justice of the Peace Gene Wambolt

6th Judicial District Court
Michael Lee Andreozzi pleaded guilty to felony being under the influence of a controlled substance and a sentencing hearing was set for 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 21.

Mark Richard Warren was sentenced for felony DUI to attend diversion court will all the usual conditions attached.

Carl Ray Odoms pleaded not guilty to felony DUI and a jury trial was scheduled for March 17, 2010.

Thomas Jackson pleaded guilty to violation of a temporary extended stalking order and a sentencing hearing was set for Dec. 21.

A change-of-plea hearing was set for 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 7 for Ashley Edith Jaramillo who is charged with receiving/possessing/withholding stolen property.

The case involving Sara Jayne Johnson, who is charged with felony possession of a controlled substances for sale, possession of a controlled substance, and being under the influence of a controlled substance, was continued until 11:15 a.m. on Nov. 16.

A bench warrant was issued for Maria Albisu Morris, charged with felony conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act, after she failed to appear in court for sentencing.

Emmalee Dawn Thompson was sentenced for felony DUI to attend diversion court with all the usual conditions.

Dave Edgar Wonnacott pleaded guilty to being an ex-felon in possession of a stun device and a sentencing hearing was set for 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2010.

Shawn Margaret Mikusek was sentenced to 12-48 months in prison on the charge of felony assault with a deadly weapon after the judge ruled she had violated the terms of her probation, which was revoked.

Union Township Justice Court

Oct 15
Deric F. Ham was sentenced for DUI to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed and two days to do under the following conditions:  pay fines totaling $567, attend DUI school and a victim impact panel.  The additional charges of failure to maintain the travel land and failure to wear a seat belt were dismissed.

Ronald Dale Farpella Jr. pled no contest to misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor and was ordered to pay a fine of $170 by October 23.

Robert Earl Reynolds was sentenced for misdemeanor first-offense DUI to 30 days in jail with 30 days stayed, with 48 hours of community service in lieu of jail time, pay fines totaling $567, DUI school, and a victim’s impact statement.  Further, he must participate in an outpatient treatment program and have no alcohol or mind-altering drugs or controlled substances while enrolled in treatment.  The additional charges of driving on the sidewalk, driving without a license, driving without proof of insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle were dismissed.

Oct. 16
Donald Lee Simmons, Jr. was sentenced for misdemeanor first-offense DUI to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed and two days to do under the following conditions:  pay fines totaling $567, participate in a victim impact panel, attend an outpatient treatment program, and no alcohol or mind-altering drugs while enrolled in treatment.  The additional charges of unsafe backing, turn or stopping without a signal, and driving with suspended/revoked registration.

Oct. 19
James Brian Anderson was sentenced for disorderly conduct to  pay fines totaling $500, stayed, $337 stayed for one year.  He was additionally sentenced for speeding to pay fines totally $177.  The additional charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed.

Seth Joseph Askew-Horm was sentenced for speeding to pay a $97 fine, for possession of drug paraphernalia to pay a fine of $337, and possession of marijuana $1,127.
