Four clerks cited for allegedly selling alcohol to minors Print

On Friday December 23, 2011 the Winnemucca Police Department in cooperation with the Humboldt County Juvenile Department conducted an enforcement operation to determine if businesses were selling alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. 

Seventeen retail locations were visited, and the clerks at four businesses were issued citations for the offense of selling or furnishing an alcoholic beverage to a minor.  Each alleged violation is a misdemeanor with a bail of $1,127.00.

Clerks at the following businesses were cited:  Winnemucca Gas located at 399 W. Minor St; Winnemucca Texaco located at 685 W. Winnemucca Blvd; Khoury's Market located at 1041 S. Grass Valley Rd; and, the BAR M Bar located at 237 S. Bridge St.
