The Winnemucca Police Department is pleased to announce the promotion of Officer Jeff Lynn to the rank of Sergeant.  Sergeant Lynn was sworn into Office by Mayor Di An Putnam at a ceremony at Winnemucca City Hall on October 17, 2011.

Sergeant Lynn is a seventeen year veteran of law enforcement.  After serving as a Humboldt County Deputy, Lynn joined the ranks of the Winnemucca Police Department in January of 2011.  Since that time Lynn has served as a Patrol Officer and a Field Training Officer.
