The following were the results of misdemeanor arraignments, sentencings, and gross misdemeanor or felony preliminary hearings through Feb. 24.  Judge Gene Wambolt presiding.

Wednesday, Feb. 17

  • Stephen Alan Loughry was sentenced for first offense DUI to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed and two days to do, fines totaling $567, attend DUI school and a Victim Impact Panel.

Thursday, Feb. 18

  • The case involving Onofre Morfin, charged with misdemeanor first-offense domestic battery, was dismissed.
  • Kristen Gail Horn was sentenced for misdemeanor second-offense DUI to 60 days in jail with 50 days stayed and ten days to do with credit for three days time served and seven days to do, fines and fees totaling $932, which was converted to 100 hours of community service, interlock device installed on vehicle for one year. The additional charge of driving with an expired registration was dismissed by Deputy DA Tina Russom.  On the additional charge of driving with a revoked driver’s license the fines and fees were converted to one day in jail. 

Friday, Feb. 19

  • Kristian Dale Enochson was sentenced for misdemeanor possession of marijuana to pay fines totaling $397 by April 19. The additional charges of unlawful use of a controlled substance and  misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed by the DA’s Office.
  • Ericka Darise Conner was sentenced for misdemeanor DUI to 30 days in jail with 29 days stayed and two days to do with credit for one day time served, fines and fees totaling $567, which were converted to 60 hours of community service,  DUI school, Victim Impact Panel, an interlock device installed on vehicle, in-house treatment program or, in the alternative, outpatient treatment. The defendant was additionally sentenced for basic speed to fines totaling $97, which was converted to one day in jail with credit for time served.
  • Sandra N. Crowley was sentenced for misdemeanor possession of marijuana to pay fines totaling $397 by March 22.  The DA’s Office dismissed the additional charges  of being under the influence of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monday, Feb. 22

  • German Figuero Barajas was sentenced for speeding, minor in consumption, and driving without a valid driver’s license to pay fines totaling $581.
  • Miranda Rae Moore was sentenced for petit larceny to pay fines totaling $337 by Aug. 22 and write a letter of apology within 30 days. The fines were stayed $322 to write the letter.

 Tuesday, Feb. 23

  • Tennison Quentin Pine was sentenced for consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia to 13 days in jail with credit for time served.
  • Samantha Jean Lockett was sentenced for misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia to fines totaling $177 with $100 stayed for one year.
  • The case involving Larry Wayne McCann, charged with domestic battery by strangulation, was dismissed by Chief Deputy DA Brian Williams.
  • The case involving Brennan Shawn DeWitte, charged with gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, was dismissed.
