Winnemucca H1N1 clinic open to all |

Vaccinations against the H1N1 ("Swine Flu") virus are now available to all Nevadans, including those outside the six priority groups, says the Nevada State Health Division. Free shots will be administered while supplies last at a Clinic Thursday in downtown Winnemucca.

WHAT: H1N1 Mass Vaccination Clinic WHERE: Winnemucca Convention Center, 50 W. Winnemucca Blvd, Winnemucca WHEN: Thursday, January 7, 2010 TIME: 10am – 6pm COST: There is not a cost involved with the H1N1 vaccination.
Beginning December 18, H1N1 flu vaccination will be available to all Nevadan’s, including those outside the six priority groups. Previously, the vaccine was administered only to:
- Pregnant women
- People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
- Health care and emergency medical services personnel with direct patient contact
- Persons between the ages of 6 months and 24 years old, and
- People 25 through 64 years of age who are at higher risk for 2009 H1N1 because of chronic health disorders or compromised immune systems.
- People age 65 and over with underlying health conditions
